It’s just like a movie scene. Beautiful scenery, wonderful location, superb hospitality, I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better few days. John and Sarah could not do enough to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Thank you once again to both john and Sarah for all you did and making us feel so welcome.
The food for breakfast was delicious and very filling, The tour of the castle was very good and informative and learnt a lot of interesting facts. The accommodation was spacious and really nice. Definitely worth recommending. Would defiantly stay here again
We were treated to a beautiful breakfast within the family quarters too. It was beautiful sat in front of the fire with a paper and the friendly family cat. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The management gave us 2 rooms in one of the cottages with our own private landing. The rooms were very cozy and the beds comfortable. John gave a group of us a 1hr 15 min tour of Bickleigh Castle on the second morning. It was a unique experience to be able to stay on the grounds of a place with so much history. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
My partner and I stayed at Bickleigh Castle for a midweek getaway and it was amazing. The room and the entire property are magical and the staff are extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a nice romantic break and we will definitely be coming back.
After an amazing night sleep, we went to the Orangery. Freshly made Coffee and warm Croissants were awaiting us together with Juice, Yogurt, Cereals and Toast.
My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at Bickleigh castle and were very happy to have stayed there as its fantastic! The castle is amazing and the owner gave a very interesting tour! Very special in a beautiful location. There is a stunning river and bridge at the bottom of the road where you can sit in a pub garden and enjoy the view.
