what a wonferful 3 nights at Bickleigh Castle. John andSarah were super hosts and made us all feel incredibly welcome. The highleight of our stay was the amazing bbq that was prepared by the castle and England winning the semi-finals of the Euros. Dinky dog has also fallen in love with Buddy the dog and she is keen to bring him home with us.

Thank you for all yur hard work before and during our stay-many menories have been created this week.

Thank you for a wonderful conference. the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a very productive writing retreat. 10/10 would recommend to anyone planning a conference who wants to come to the Southwest.

Thank you so much for having us, we really all had a brilliant and unique time. Sarah, John and the rest of the team created a brilliant atmosphere for us to ease into the weekend, get ready for out wedding and have a great after party too/ help our hangover with a great brunch.

in particular, the reception in the Great Hall on the Friday night was a highlight. the roaring fire and John.s piano playing provided an atmospheric back drop for us to start the weekend with. John also led a lovely secular Rememberance Service in the 6th Century Chapel as it was 11/11, which provided a poignant note we headed off to our ceremony

Vivace Retreats: Bickleigh Castle is full of character, much as the owners and the team who readily look after you. The accommodation is comfortable, and the spaces we are able yo use inside range from cozy to grand. The outside space is welcoming and useful. Whether it be a glass of wine outside when the sun is shining or enjoying the fairy lights after the light have gone., you'll be sure of a feeling of privacy and being in your own world. If you want to use one word, it has to be : Magical
